Terms of Service

Effective 10 June 2026

1. The service

StatusMirror monitors publicly published status information of third-party services and notifies you of changes. We are not affiliated with the providers we monitor; their marks belong to their owners.

2. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address you control. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your inbox secure, since sign-in codes are delivered there. You must be at least 18 years old.

3. Plans and billing

Free plans may be limited in providers, alert volume, or features. Paid subscriptions are billed through Razorpay in INR and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from the billing page; access continues until the end of the paid period. Fees are exclusive of GST, which is added where applicable.

4. Acceptable use

Do not abuse, probe, or overload the service; do not resell alerts as your own monitoring product; do not use the service to send unsolicited email; do not attempt to bypass rate limits or security controls.

5. Service levels and disclaimers

Status data depends on what providers publish and may be delayed (checks run on an interval) or inaccurate when upstream pages are wrong. The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. StatusMirror is an alerting aid — do not rely on it as your sole mechanism for incident detection in safety-critical systems.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including losses caused by a third-party provider's outage.

7. Data protection

Our processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Notice and governed by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. By using the service you accept that notice.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Notice for the erasure process). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you hold.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified by email or in-app. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
